Day 6 Subject: [firstname], be everywhere! Hello [firstname], Now you've got your brand established, and have established a presence on multiple social media sites, it's time to co-ordinate your post, tweets and pictures so you can “be everywhere” without having to spend all your time on your smartphone or computer. One method is to post to a different social media site each day. Set aside a specific time – first thing in the morning (say) or last thing in the afternoon – and post to a different social media site every time. So you could update your Facebook page on Mondays, Tweet to Twitter on Tuesdays and Thursdays, upload a selfie to Instagram on Wednesdays and contribute to a LinkedIn discussion on Fridays. Alternatively, you could update your social media at certain times during the day – every time you go to the kitchen to make a cup of tea, for instance. Spend some time on your smartphone while you're waiting for the kettle to boil! Another way is to automate the whole process. There are several third party services you can use to accomplish this. Using them, you can write posts and tweets in advance and schedule them to go out at predefined dates and times. Alternatively, you can use them to link your media accounts so that when you (say) update your Facebook page, or upload a new video to YouTube, you automatically send a tweet to Twitter about it. I devote a whole chapter to this in my social media guide. Click here [link to sales page] to read more. Finally, you can do what those famous actors, sports stars and captains of industry do, and hire someone to take care of your social media for you. If you look on sites like freelancer.com or fiverr.com for “social media posting” or “virtual assistants” you'll find many people offering this service at quite reasonable prices. Best regards, [Your Name] PS. Posting isn't the only social media service you may want to outsource. I'll explain more tomorrow.
